Stealthy (20"x10")
I photographed this stealthy little bobcat at Yosemite National Park. He was quite the character, sneaking around like he was going to pounce on something. Instead he suddenly started rolling around in the dirt before sauntering casually by me. This is the first of several paintings of this bobcat (see "Sizing Up the Situation").
This painting has tons of hair texture with gorgeous blue and grey highlights. Hints of violet accentuate the nighttime feel of this piece.
Thick, 1.5 inch, painted sides give this piece a clean, sleek look.
